Today is April 29, 2017 -
Jewish Public Affairs Forum, Wed., May 17, 8:00 PM (change of date)
The American Jewish Community in the Age of Trump, with Ken Bob.
We will explore this new reality in the context of issues that are resonating with many Jewish organizations, an orthodox son-in-law of the president in the White House, a rise in antisemitism and more. We will look at which segments of the Jewish community are supportive of the president and which have vocally expressed their opposition. We will see how his election has impacted Israel thus far and what that means for us as American Jews. We will also discuss how everything that has happened has affected unity and disunity within our community.
Ken Bob is a member of HJC who serves in a variety of Jewish organizational capacities. He is the current president of Ameinu, the national Zionist organization, and serves as a member of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Ken will present a variety of topic periodically during the year.
