Morning services are held in the Lief Chapel Monday through Friday at 7:15 A.M. and Sunday mornings and secular holidays at 9:00 A.M. On Rosh Chodesh, services begin 15 minutes earlier. A breakfast follows the service the first Friday of each month, organized by the Minyanaires.
Services are held in the Leif Chapel at 6:00 P.M. Special programs include periodic Shabbat Dinners, the Shabbarbeque, Shabbat Under The Stars, special speakers and discussion following the service, and outdoor services during the summer. For further information contact the Main Office.
Services begin at 9:30 AM in the Main Sanctuary Labor Day through June, and in the Leif Chapel during the summer. Kiddush follows the service.
English transliterations of the service are available at all Friday Night and Shabbat Morning Services
There is a comfortable place for every member of your family to spend Shabbat and holidays at the Huntington Jewish Center.
Babysitting: Babysitting is available for 0 to 4 year olds every Shabbat and festival morning from 10:30 to noon.
Junior Congregation & Nitzanim:
Nitzanim: Geared for 4 through 7 year olds, periodically throughout the year, participate in their own Shabbat morning service, led by one of our staff members.
Junior Congregation: Services modelling worship in the main Sanctuary are conducted periodically throughout the year for the 8 – 12 year olds in the Lief Chapel under the supervision of one of our staff members. Junior Congregation affords the opportunity to put into practice that which the children learn in the classroom. In addition, the weekly Torah portion is experienced through drama, games, stories, and free discussions.
