8:45 pm – Shavuot evening services – A joyful evening service in honor of the festival.

9:15 pm – Tikkun Leyl Shavuot study session – Did you stand at Sinai?  How our understanding of revelation impacts our connection to Judaism.   The moment of God’s revelation at Sinai is a pinnacle moment in the history of the Jewish people. According to one midrash, all Jews born and yet to be born stood at Sinai to witness it. What do you think about that midrash? Were you standing at Sinai? We’ll explore how the answer to that question significantly impacts our understanding of what it means to be Jewish.

10:00 pm – Cheesecake reception – Enjoy a tasty Shavuot treat with members of the HJC community.

Post-cheesecake, till whenever – “Round Robin Torah Sharing”  All are welcome to stay to learn and teach until as late as you’d like. If you are interested in teaching something (15 minute maximum), just come and teach it! No sign up required. Last person awake closes the building!
