Religious School Teacher Gifts

Dear HJC Religious School parents,

We are proud of and thankful for the excellent work all our Religious School teachers and staff provide.

As has been done for many years, to show our gratitude, we would like to to give Hanukkah and end-of-year appreciation gifts to our teachers, the Rabbi, and the school administrators/staff.  We are collecting voluntary monetary contributions.

$20 per student will cover both Hanukkah and end-of-year gifts, but anything you would like to contribute would be appreciated. Because the teachers all work very hard on behalf of our children, we think it appropriate to gift each teacher and the Rabbi the same amount, as below. Gifts will be a multiple of “chai” (18). As is customary, the gift to the Rabbi will be in the form of a contribution to his Hospitality Fund.

Please contribute by Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Dori Herman will purchase gift cards and return them to the Class Parent to give to the teacher.
